Institute Dr. Wagner has been working for years on the value of regional foods. In addition to technical expertise and laboratory analysis in our internationally accredited testing laboratory, the focus is primarily on the topics of "authenticity" and "quality". In 2022 alone, more than 500 companies submitted their products for evaluation and classification at the annual awards. In scientific projects, the Dr. Wagner Institute has been an essential and competent partner for years. In a cooperation project between the Institute Dr. Wagner and the Institute of Molecular Biosciences of the Karl Franzens University in Graz, research is currently being carried out on Styrian pumpkin seed oil using the latest analytical technology. As part of a doctoral thesis, the substance profile is being decoded and evaluated step by step using high-resolution mass spectrometry together with experts from lipid research. We are looking forward to the first promising results.
